>>13458908You just don't get it, probably becuase you've never actually lived in the country and you're LARPing. Imagine your closest neighbor is a mile's travel away, not uncommon in the middle of nowhere. Now, remember that 60% of your neighbors are probably boomers with no kids left, another 10% never had kids at all, and even a good portion of the remainder will have kids not of close enough age to play with yours. Its a wasteland, sadly.
Regardless, no one has actually given a reason why a small town is a bad place to live either. They can be super comfy, basically they combine the best of both urban and rural.
