>>7815499I found it by accident while stumbling upon that board - also quite randomly and on a serendipitous occasion.
When I was reading it, I got surprised to have heard only about maybe twenty of those book - not read, just hearing about them - and knowing how great lectures were those few I already covered, I decided to save it and give it a go.
So far, I've got
>98 "A Clockwork Orange" Anthony Butgess>26 "One Hundred Years of Solitude" Gabriel Garcia Marquez which I should reread one day because I feel like I didn't catch up on everything important. And ᵘʰᵐ⋅⋅ that would be it, really.
I reopened this file, lost somewhere on my desktop about two months ago. Read "Nothing's new on the Western front" thinking it must be on the list as well, but got rather disappointed.
Overall I really don't want to read things I won't understand or look like a snob because I've got this all planned - but it's just a guilty pleasure of mine to have so much goodies that has been compiled by somewhat reliable autists.
I want to check "Brave New World" after "Faust" but gonna keep in mind yours proposition as well~
I had my fair share with emotional distress on Western front, reading it just in right time compared to real life struggles - made everything around seem all that much lighter to take <3
This video inspired me to read it btw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91bY9h35qTgSome say having it all spoiled makes for a better experience but it really didn't matter here all that much, only ruined my ending that for sure could felt much more emotional without knowing what's gonna happen and being at peace with it long before finishing the book - right at the start actually.
Sorry for a long post, I'm just glad you've found an alternative for your Internet browsing <3
Must've sucked not being able to catch up on many things though, or while working on an assignment if that's what troubles your everyday life.

After that song I'm sleep.
