The crux of their faith is that the god of everything became man and had himself sacrificed for the sins of man so that nobody need ever be sacrificed again. To be Christian is to believe in the sacrifice to end all sacrifices and to share that belief with others, and it's on that basis that Christianity spread to those who couldn't stomach the Pagan traditions of sacrificing animals and enemies to one's gods.
