So they could show proofs to other people then control them via this feeling of superiority. They did the same thing when they told everyone the earth was flat. They told their pals it was really round, then they rejoiced in being special and better than everyone else.
That's why idc about flat or round. Only getting rid of scum who believe they are superior for any reason. Even the people who are so certian the earth is round that this also becomes a reason to feel superior and not discuss the people who always told the lies, regardless what those lies are. I don't even care what the truth is anymore. Just getting rid of scum who use their version to beat other folks over the head with and larp that this means their political ideas have more merit, when none of this is a political discussion to begin with.
I'll worry about flat/round when the entire world isn't enslaved regardless of shape.
