>>18851192Long hair has breakpoints where it looks best proportionally to the body. When it's growing out and is in between those points it just looks a tiny bit off. You're not going to notice it much in day to day life, especially since hair moves around a bit in motion but it's obvious when your drawing and looking at reference photos a lot.
