that's it bois, I just calculated the distance to sun using Eratosthenes data.
If erf is flet then
>TgA(7.2deg)=a(distance to sun)/b(distance between the gnomons)
>0.12632937844=a/157.7*5040
>0.12632937844=a/794808
>a=0.12632937844*794808=100,407.6m
so that would place sun somewhere 100.4 km above the surface of the erf... good lord, we can literally touch it!!!! just launch some hot balloons, lads!!!
