I don't know about your country but in America there is Discover, which is 100% free with no fees for having it empty or anything. As long as you have at least $0.01 cent there that account can remain open forever. Then look for a free commission broker account like Webull (can make 1 trade a day no issues, can trade crypto too) or TDAmeritrade (best for Swing trading and look for stocks using ThinkOrSwim). Most active hours for trading are in the morning and while you learn you'll lose money of-course. But with the amount of free time you have you'll eventually get good at it.
