It mostly begins with a need or desire to move towards my desk. That need or desire may be conscious, like if I'm deliberately thinking about hitting the desk, but most of the time it doesn't even register in my conscious mind Instead, my brain simply takes control, plans, and initiates the movement.
My brain sends signals via my nervous system, including my spinal cord and nerves, to my arm muscles. My muscles then contract to create movement, towards the desk. My muscles work in conjunction with tendons and joints, which help them move my skeletal bones to accomplish hitting the desk desu
