I'm a regular drinker (read:functional alcoholic, who actually got to a low point where I was drinking straight liquor for breakfast before work) and used to think that guys who drank scotch were just shithead larpers who wanted to appear "manly" or wealthy or distinguished or something - like boys trying to role play as men. Then my best friend got into it and bought all of these fancy scotches, and I've been drinking them ever since and got way into them. pic related: it's one of my faves and tastes like licking a burnt log.
