Knowing you devalue them doesn't sound really npd. My guess would be that you want people to say what a good girl you are in a sense of how smart and diligent you are. Maybe this stems from giving your best (as a child or now with a damaged mental state) but no one ever acknowledged that. (this is just a bigu guess, I wouldn't know)
