Once he's out on his own, if he wants to work, there's lots of programs to help the homeless. And basically, if he can pass a drug test, show up sober, and isn't mentally deranged he's basically guaranteed a job. It's hard to find homeless people that fit those criteria, and many of us are all three of those things. Your brother has a bright future as long as he stays away from drugs, other than dying alone. I've been homeless for 2 years now, and before that I lived with my parents until they kicked me out.
