What have we to be proud of if we, of ourselves, can do nothing?
Did you bring yourself into this world?
Is it your own power that maintains your very existence?
Ponder, if only for an instant, the infinitude of Almighty God.
Who are we to think ourselves anything but infinitely blessed creations just for our consciousness alone?
And yet we are infinitely blessed again to have the opportunity to catch even a single glimpse of God's Glory reflected within existence.
And how unfathomably blessed are we wretched creatures to have the gift of Life offered by God through Christ while being entirely deserving of condemnation?
Even through eternity, we will never be able to fully grasp the magnitude of the blessings our beloved Creator continuously dotes upon us.
What have we to be proud of?
Therefore, if you should boast, let your boast be of God; for Mighty and True is He.
