Europeans are the tallest now than they've ever been in recorded history. Upper Paleolithic Europeans were the next tallest, probably because they still had a gracile body type from migrating from warmer areas. Lower Paleolithic Europeans and Mesolithic Europeans were shorter. Neolithic europeans were even shorter because there was a population change as well as worse diet, less mobility. Then height in Europe started increasing again from the Bronze age onward with the Indo european invasion/change in lifestyle/diet
The bog body you posted is from the Iron age, so he's an indo european (likely a celt) he's not a cro magnon. The reason he was so tall is because he was nobility and had a good diet. Many bog bodies from northern europe are also tall because the nobility would be sacrificed the most frequently, usually to appease the Gods during harsh times
