Still sucks in that I didn't get to have two cartons because of it, only one. Oh well.
Also, couldn't go outside without something awkward happening, of course.
I ordered food before I went out, from a place that doesn't take very long to bring it. Ended up seeing the guy on the elevator.
Normally, I guess that wouldn't be bad on it's own. But I waited about half-way of the elevator going up before saying that it's our order. It's already paid for, so, I could've just said it from the beginning and the dude wouldn't have had to sit through an extra elevator ride. They did ask why I didn't say earlier. I looked pretty dumb.
It's always uncomfortable whenever I have to go into an elevator with somebody, I tend to just take the stairs instead or a lap around the block if I notice that I'm going to have to. That's just with a normal occasion, so, this happening made it extra uncomfortable. Felt like forever.
I kind of wish I never got over my fear of elevators, wouldn't have to deal with this then. As a kid I refused to take them because I watched too many of those Chinese videos where something malfunctions and kills someone, which made me think it'd inevitably happen to me if I took elevators too often. Now when I'm alone in one, I rattle elevators as hard as I can to see if anything happens. I don't think it will so I'm okay with doing it, but you get a rush from the scare as the box shakes, which is pretty nice.
He also asked if I had any cigarettes. I had a bag in my hand full of packs of them, but I said no. I wonder if they noticed that. They're not for me, by the way.
I also tend to downright ignore things people say because I suck at hearing and also don't know how to respond even if I do, and that happened here as well.
Not like it matters. I used to get pretty caught up on it whenever things like this happened, but nowadays I really can't bring myself to care no matter how weird of an interaction I go through. Character development?
