the funny thing is that Francis is far closer to the ancient italian paganism you;re supporting. the Vatican II Sect even moved the altar in the pantheon from the back wall to the center where it stood when it was still a pagan temple. the ancient catholics moved it to the back wall after converting it to a catholic church so there would be less association with the pagan sacrifices.
