you should be able to see 66.6 (lol) feet of curvature drop over 10 miles
so all you need to do is go to a 10 mile wide lake, stand on one shore and look across the lake at the other shore, if you can see the shore, and its not obscured by a 70ft mountain of water, boom you got missing curve.
