>>23487416I don't live in the third world, or even in a particularly loud place, but I do have a disorder that makes all noise sound extremely loud. Typing this on my keyboard is just on the edge of uncomfortable. Holding a conversation is mildly painful, like having someone yell in your face. Dishes scraping together are excruciating.
My only real recommendation is that Flents makes the best earplugs. Don't bother spending money on anything but foam - all the other kinds block less noise.
