>>1863253I'd recommend starting out with a PNG, because they save without any artifacts. From there, open a picture. Then, navigate to image, then mode, then indexed. On the indexed color conversion menu, select "Use black and white (1-bit) palette) for colormap and under ditering, select "Floyd-Steinberg (normal). Then convert and overwrite your image under the "file" menu.
