I maintain what I said about therapy. It doesn't work. If it did we wouldn't have so many depressed people nowadays. They won't try to understand you, well I suppose they would as they are paid to do so, but definitely not on an emotional level. And besides, you can't help people who don't want to be helped. The change has to come from the person in question.
