Okinawa was a experience. I was in SK when Kim's daddy wanted to hit the western US with ballistic missiles.
Key Resolve was not a mission as they claimed. We trained with SK ROK yes but the real mission, it was all underground. We established a base above and that's where 99.9% of us personnel were at.
I only got to go under since the army failed to provide the base with water and power. The Marines made it happen in 2 days. I was in charge of providing water and power as a Marine Engineer.
Gen Bell was Army. He would of promoted me to CPL on the spot but I didn't have my CPL Chevrons. I was a fresh LCPL.
Broke my leg in 2010. Career was done.
