Don't get me wrong, single family detached homes have their place and should be allowed, but they shouldn't be the ONLY thing we can build, nor should they be mandated anywhere near an urban center. If you want to pay for space, you should also be willing to pay for transportation, parking, and maintenance of your own infrastructure. That's all. Both options can exist here.
