I myself prefer Mediterranean features. I'm not sure I'd call them superior. Maybe, and at least to an extent, we find it easier to see beauty in features closer to ours. Or maybe we just think the similarity in genetics will bring a similarity in culture and that might make us more compatible.
I don't think it's completely subjective, though. Abbo women must be considered displeasing to almost everyone. And women with red hair are alluring to almost everyone, I think.
