Sounds useless at first because of how much damage a LAM does already, but, I'm pretty sure this means more damage to mechs as well, so, I guess it's pretty situational, but if you're ever out of EMP nades or rockets, then you could very well kill mechs late game with LAMs. Cool. Gonna try that.
