yeah its all about journey not the destination when it comes to books. gotta have fun with it.
I get your perspective but I believe that this job would be big chilling. You could get angry at customers disrupting your reading but that is just how it goes. I don't believe you will lose the wonder for books, that is something that doesn't go away unless you have adhd like me.
maybe the librarian life isn't for you? You have to have a certain passion for it though I agree it could be annoying doing certain things.
