Fear not OP, hell is not a scary place, imagine if you were to go to heaven, now that is a scary thought! To worship a narcissistic being that has killed an untold amount of people and you must worship this being for all of eternity at that too. Would you really enjoy that?
You cannot find a god, the moment you stop believing is also the time you realise that no matter how much you wish there to be a God, its existence is impossible. You can try to find or wish for, go ahead, but it will not help. Even if there is one, and you meet this being, that is not a God.
