>>5611769There are 3 ways to stop a human using a firearm, and an extra inch of muscle isn't going to amount to much ballistic protection.
1) CNS shot: brain or spine, instant and reliable, hard to get, can increase odds with buck shot.
2) Bleed out: Humans have about 9 seconds of oxygenated blood in their brains. Shoot the heart and take cover, it doesn't matter what drugs they're on, in several seconds they'll be incapacitated. However, people on drugs can take many hits (18 in one case) and still take about 3 minutes to bleed out.
3) Shock. Some people will just drop when they're shot in a non-lethal location, doesn't much matter what the gun is.
People fanboy over cartridges, but most have marginal differences within categories. Pistols are in a much lower class than others, 6/7 people who get shot with pistols in america live, I forget what but the ratio was much lower for rifles.
