>>7117157Aside from the very small new crop of frogposters, /bant/ hasn't really had any dramatic crossboarding in quite a while. What should also be considered is the board is half the speed it was earlier in the year when the shitposting was at its zenith. The board's been whittled down to a core of the few dedicated daily posters remaining.
/bant/ just needs to get its bearings about itself. The pointless crossboard reposts, necrobumped threads with no content or discussion, the monotony of six million identical anime girl OP blogpost threads, and the /v/-tier cynicism between posters really brings people down, that's just always been the case.
What really makes /bant/ fun is when it has something that gives it and its posters a sense of unity or continuity. You know, community events, original content surrounding the board, newspapers, thread generals that actually produce something, whether it be OC or fun discussion, the repetition and modification of new forced memes (not just shameful rehashes and reposts). Things like that. Yeah, it takes a couple dedicated people to spurr the kinda cycle of fun everyone knows they come to /bant/ for, but considering the smaller size of the board, it wouldn't be too hard.
I'd wager a good week of hit-after-hit of actually trying by a persistent few could get the board back on track for a while. You've just gotta get past the looming malaise that drapes the place, that's the hard part.
