I'm seeing lots of single women in their 40s getting ink now. It's usually fresh ink so it's not like they've been getting tats all their lives. It appears that they see younger women getting them and think either it will help them get men as easily as younger women do or is just a last ditch attempt at feeling young again. Either way, it certainly doesn't help their dating prospects any. Women in their 40s are undesirable enough as it is but signaling insecurity and instability is a death blow. Only the lowest of the low are going to have anything to do with these women.
