Take a long look at /qa/ and tell me you want to turn /bant/ into that. Your efforts "saving /bant/" have involved opening the floodgates to gayposting attention whores, frogposting attention whores with an unhealthy obsession towards Pepe that borders on being the amphibian-equivalent of furries, (you) addicts masquerading as said frogposting attention whores that are authentic enough that the distinction is ultimately pointless, and post-ironic /pol/tards who can't go longer than three posts without pointing out something offends them.
This is the hell that /bant/'s community tried to steer the board away from, and if it hasn't been obvious already on your opinion is what kills quality everything on a board. You take a look at the anti-anime crowd for instance, and look at their accomplishments compared to the rest of /bant/. They managed to get Albania, a major drawfag in regards to country girls blocked from a range ban after using that country's IP to flood the board. They don't make original content, not since Chicanon. Their only contribution is drama threads in the vein of /qa/. They welcome the gayposting and frogtards because it angers the animefags.
They don't have the board's best interests in mind, and they don't want to see /bant/ flourish, they just want to see the animefags burn.
