I'm not sure if this meditation is pertinent, but...
You know when you go to a movie theater, and you are in the middle of a good movie. Your sight is involved, your hearing is involved, your sense of feel is involved (because of the vibrations) and your emotions are involved. You are in the movie.
You are sitting next to your friend while you are watching the movie. You turn to look at your friend and the illusion of being in the movie is broken, but when you turn back to the movie, you get absorbed back into the scene again and you become part of the movie.
My meditation is that life here in the physical universe is analogous to the movie, and I try to turn my head to break the illusion.
I have managed to break the illusion a few times and this is when I realize that I am what I call the true innermost radiant Self. It's usually for a split second, but it feels longer, because as soon as I realize it its gone. My ego is not my true innermost radiant Self.
The Upanishads are well worth one's read. Pic related is the version I have.
blessings to you
