did feel good to think that I didn't just "get lucky" since I have dozens of documents and spreadsheets I made describing my thesis to myself and different factors I was looking at, so I actually knew what I was talking about
But then I talk to some people who actually have finance related degrees and they throw out some terms I've never even heard of and some crazy complicated math I could never hope to understand and I lose confidence in myself
Like, these guys are way smarter than me, and have way more resources and insider connections than me, and do it for their full time job instead of just in their free-time after work, and they still struggle to consistently make profits, what hope could I have?
