Math is just a process of creative problem solving and finding the right abstraction to simplify a complex idea
However, unless you're really autistic you might get bored of pure maths after a while so I recommend doing it alongside physics which provides better intuition for lots of math concepts and you also get to use your newfound knowledge irl
