I don't know how else to break the news to you, so I'll just come out and say it. Ice didn't cause these geological features. If you look at the debates between uniformitarians and catastrophists, one side needed a way to explain things like "erratic boulders" that could not mention any type of catastrophic events. So, the only way that uniformitarians could explain how a 10,000 ton boulder could travel thousands of kilometers, and wind up at a much higher elevation than it's source was by making up an entire epoch where ice covered the entire planet. Which still doesn't make any logical sense when you actually stop to think about it. Furthermore, they never even bothered to adequately explain what caused the "ice age(s)". They just needed hundreds of thousands of years worth of slow gradual changes to explain what we observed, and thus we have an "ice age".
Granted, I will say that our planet did experience a cold spell during the whole transformation process. But the majority of the features carved into our landscape were done by massive amounts of charge redistributing itself across the Earth's surface
