Lotta folks will have old farm equipment or vehicles passed down to them by their parents, so they let it sit out in the elements while never actually finishing it because more important things keep popping up. It’s funny really, but it gives a bit more soul to the places that you’ll find in small towns far away from the city.
You might not think that some rusty old ford truck has a story behind it, but if you talk to the old-timer that owns it then chances are he can tell you a million things about riding in it with his father when he was growing up.
I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever get like that one day, or if I’ll even live long enough to get to that point.
