>>16761220I'm not say to ripoff everything. Just the "framework" and system. Polytheists don't care about it. We have multiple forms of the same deity in India. Each region has its own variation depending upon the culture. They're just seen as a different avatar of the same deity. Japan as well has it's own local interpretations of Indian gods (the goddess Saraswati becoming Benzaiten, Ganesha is Kangiten etc).
The rituals also have their local variations that evolved over time. Polytheism was always about pluralism and worshiping the divinity in various forms. It's why you never saw any religious wars between polytheists.
