Starting with sports: If sex is biology and gender is sociology then a transgender who is a biological male cant compete with girls because sport categories ar divided based on biological sexual differences.
ID: Id is about sex also. If you get unconscious and the ambulance finds you, many times they need to know your biological sex to give you the right treatment. So you can't change your Id based on your gender because it's about biological sex.
Most people dont even care about your new definition of gender. They just think gender is the same as biological sex and they use that world in that context.
