>>20566708With 150k cad you can like a very good life in Italy, and in Romania you'll live like a king.
Italian government is mostly shit, even though I don't dislike the current prime minister. She's fine in my book. Healthcare is very good if you got the money for private clinics; free healthcare not so much. There are also many more services that don't work too good, like public transportation or the quality of our streets.
And then of course our economy is close to an implosion, worse than what happened to Greece a few years ago. There are too many old people and too few workers. They are pushing the retirement age to the limit, while your workers leave the country for Germany and such. Salaries are stagnant despite a rampant inflation and the rise of cost of living.
But despite all of that, if you like to live the relaxed life and you got the money, it's a good place to stay. Food is great, pollution is low, beaches are nice, and if you like arts and history you'll never get bored. Northern Italy, especially around Milan and Tourin, is economically and ideologically closer the central Europe. Middle and especially Southern Italy are very different.

Despite the many flaws, Italy is not a bad place to stay, but I also see a dark short term future for my country. We are masters in social and economic ups and downs.
