This is just one reason why the dating market is in the state that it is in. A disaster is forming: older women who are unmarried do not have retirement savings or adequate 401ks. Older men are settling down with younger women. So there will be a glut of people that the state will have to care for, or let die.
Now the silver lining is that these single elderly women, will not live very long. In fact we are seeing their lifespans shrink every year.
