I still believed in the simple admiration so it was strange to me to see all this post-modernist pushback by SJW's against any and all depictions of beauty and the nude in art, gaming, media, because its not just there to be carnally desired as you say but also appreciated for its beauty alone, a concept I now realize is foreign or unknown to modern times for the most part.
Thinking about the whole "coomer" meme, and its usage on /v/ towards anyone wanting attractive female characters in videogames, because to these people they only equate them with porn and carnal desire, there is no understanding of the concept of appreciation of beauty for its own sake now.
