The suffixes follow patterns and rules, and sometimes it can be a source of confusion, e.g. 'követ' has 3 different meanings in Hungarian, ('ambassador', 'stone', 'to follow'), depending on what you identify as the stem of the word. Attaching suffixes to foreign names is a huge pain in the ass in Hungarian, because the spelling rules were made up by idiots, and 70% of adult population are idiots to learn them properly. I like English for its isolating grammar, it side steps the entire madness by using prepositions.
