The news crews went around to get some feedback, as they do, and one of the negroes they found was rather upset that his community was being destroyed, and had some rather unpleasant things to say about the people doing it.
When the interviewer asked him, "But what about the riots in Vancouver? It's not just your people who do this"
And the negro responded, "You're missing the point. I don't want my people to be moral relative to other people. I want my people to be moral, period."
I liked that negro quite a bit.
Even assuming what you're saying is true, we both know the context in which it is being said. It is of no comfort.
