Little column a little column b. You have to ask "what does a society offer the men that take part in it?" And you come to find that (((they))) have gone out of their way to remove all those things. A wife and children? They reward women for leaving their husband's at the expense of the husband so it's a huge risk. Land? Unaffordable and made to be bought up by the hordes of third worlders being imported in. A job with a livable wage? Nope, you will work dangerous jobs for penny's on the dime while some Stacy in California gets to work at some adult daycare and make quadruple what you are. A society like this leaves little reason for young men to be part of it unless you are born into wealth or have that 6 foot handsome face.
Personally, I'm part of the "working to stay afloat" category. I haven't divorced myself from society, but I definitely see why some men would.
