>>2325255I think they only had the tears that big in Howl's specifically. Howl's came out in 2004, Marnie in 2014, but Whisper of the Heart (pictured) is from 1995 and has them at a normal size. Maybe you could say that she's more weepish in the latter than really bawling like Sophie was, but Howl's is the only Ghibli I've seen with strangely proportioned tears like that.
