My takeaway is:
>Why would you remove Expertise? I understand that the smoothbrains that want to play DPS don't understand that they have to cap their Expertise or else they're going to do no damage, but it seems pretty stupid to remove it considering Expertise is like 90% of itemization.
>Standardizing hit rating sounds (mostly) fine. Or at least it did until they said that interrupts flat-out cannot miss now, basically meaning that there is no reason to ever cap your hit out if you are playing a tank now - since the only REAL reason you needed to hit and expertise cap on a tank was 1. You need to not miss your interrupts, etc 2. You needed to be able to keep threat, but after their threat changes keeping threat has never been an issue even on builds with absolute zero investment into Damage/Threat Talents
So while this change will likely make the server more new-player friendly it has also inadvertently dumbed down tanks yet again.
