What I meant was less loyalty and more the disconnect within communities (suburbs, for instance, where you barely know your neighbour).
And in my experience at lest, whites get annoyed about little things and 'lash out' abut the insignificant. Perhaps it's anecdotal fallacy, but this has continually been my impression.
