[Time is weird in Spaghetti Town]
>"Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep, sharmuta."
Steeli muttered as she finally managed to put the squeeze on Spirit's neck. For a woman that was seemingly incorporeal, the Divine Cheerleader felt and acted quite real, and hit quite hard.
Steeli had been completely confident of her own superiority and victory in the match, but a sense of relief watched over her as felt and saw Spirit tap out. Laughing over the chorus of boos and mixed cheers she dropped Spirit, giving her a good few kicks to get her out of the ring, leaving Steeli to take in the noise of the crowd. It felt good to get a victory over one of her most hated foes in the federation.
Yet the moment couldn't last as the glint of something shiny caught her eye. That oh so precious lantern of her fallen foe. The ante of the match. Chuckling to herself, Steeli mentioned for a microphone as she walked over to the corner of the ring, holding up the item as a microphone is put in her hand from the side.
>"Well well well. To the victor go the spoils, you fat nosed donkey. You thought you could pull the wool over the eyes of the greatest thief to have ever lived. But here I stand, at the grandest stage of them all, taking something oh so precious of yours. I do not know your fascination with this thing, and quite frankly, I don't care. What I DO care about is the price this little trinket will get me on the black market."
Steeli chuckles, holding the lantern up in the air, observing it in the bright stadium lights.
