Nah, I had no expectations at all. I like the idea of space games and I enjoyed elite dangerous for a while but the traveling the stars on your own in a flying "apartment" essentially is what appeals to me.
Space combat and such is great too but the large armada style games don't do much. I prefer it when it's centered around a character rather than a group or something.
Never played freelancer I think but I've wanted to for a while.
