Quite honestly, considering the 7%/year on a World ETF, I only need like 500K€ to keep my current lifestyle, or rather, better than my current lifestyle, as I wouldn't need to work anymore. And that includes taxes.
I'd need even less if I move to the countryside, or better yet, to a cheaper country or some tax haven. But let's say 700K€ (500 in stonks, 200 in boomer bonds) just to be safe and have some leeway to buy stonks during the inevitable downturns.
