All chinese expats carry ID booklets and report to the police stations to have them signed every few weeks. This way they can use ALL chinese as spying assets.
But that is how corrupt and unfit for purpose our own political and intelligence systems are, corruptly allowing this.
I used to do crowd funded private security, I ended up in one of these fake NGO’s one day to return stolen property back to a chinese lady, including all the documents they carry, all of it gave away to me what was going on but not until i was actually in there. I may have signed that woman's death warrant, she had been busily buying up Rolexes in the city before being robbed in some way. I had the receipts for two watches and the box and documentation for a third. I took it all out of a crack den. I could see she attended the NGO, i did not ‘get it’ until i went in there to ask for their help to return the property and it all twigged for me. Whoops. She probably got the garrotte.
