PHD's are the most hesitant group in America by a large margin. I know many doctors because I have to work with them daily. Maybe 20% of them are vaxed at most.
Doctors unlike nurses are immune to getting fired for this trivial bullshit because they work under contract and it's in the best interest of the company to see the contract is completed. Even if the contract is terminated they still get paid in full.
It's not like it's hard to find work as a Doctor, they are not going to cave into your demands.
